Junebug by Cherie Doyen
Cherie is an advocate for children, sharing her story of a childhood laced with physical, sexual and emotional abuse across media platforms to promote awareness about how to thrive after surviving.
She also advocates for the prevention of child abuse by educating children on how to get help. Cherie is the author of Junebug, her story of her childhood and the other-worldly dreams that helped her survive (Available on Amazon). Junebug is currently being adapted for screen to be submitted for the Academy Nicholls Fellowship. Cherie is also hosting the radio channel Untangle Your Story (Available on blogTalkRadio and iTunes). She has been featured in numerous print, web, and radio publications. Through her coaching practice, Cherie helps women build strategies to untangle themselves from the entanglement of family, and discover the stories and truths that hold tight from the strand that is uniquely their own. She gives tangible tools and strategies to begin the process of building a life that is more than surviving… thriving!
